Kapil Sharma

Program Coordinator

Kapil Sharma is an established designer with interest in Life Style Product Design, Sustainable Materials, and Graphic Design. He is a Graduate in Product Design from Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune and augmented that with a Diploma in Graphic Design and Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He has over 10-years of experience in academics and industry. He was associated with Ecowings, Indore as Principal Designer and has worked as a faculty with SDPS Women's College, Indore and Design Institute of India. He is a product designer and handled various projects for many reputed brands like Apple, BMW, KLM Royal Dutch Airline, Tata, Mahindra. L&T. He has also worked with Zagato, Milan, Italy and has explored variety of automotive projects. He is passionate about upcycling, craft, innovation, and design education. His work and products have been published across the world and many brands have recognized his thoughts into international magazines and blogs. His products have got international recognition in many countries like USA, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, UK. He loves to inject new innovations and develop sustainable products for the betterment of the environment which not only inform the significance of environment but also motivate people to become responsible and educated. He is currently serving Avantika as Assistant Professor in School of Design.

Eligibility

  • 10+2 from any stream (from any of the State Boards/ CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ CIE/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam)
  • 50% aggregate in all subjects
  • Proficiency in English
  • Valid score of MIT Pune Design Aptitude Test (DAT)
  • Valid score of Design Scholarship Test (DST)
  • DAT is jointly conducted by MIT Institute of Design, Ujjain and MIT Institute of Design (MIT-ID), Pune

An additional amount of rupees 10,000 (Nonrefundable) is payable as one-time registration charges during admissions.

The Hostel facility is available on first-come-first-served basis. Hostel and Mess facility is available on the campus at an additional cost. The hostel facility shall be Twin Non-AC accommodation. The mess facility shall include Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and Dinner.

Loan

Students Loan facility will be available to the students securing admission to the university. Disbursement of the loan is as per the banks' terms and conditions.

Refund Policy

Avantika University will cancel an Admission only if the student fails to meet the Entry Requirements. The complete fees will be refunded within 15 days of cancellation of admission.

A student opting to withdraw his/her admission will be entitled to the refund of fees as detailed:

Fees shall be refunded to the student within fifteen days from the date of receiving a written application from him/her towards cancellation of admission.

All legal disputes if any will be in the Ujjain Jurisdiction only.
