Scholarships

Avantika University offers various scholarships, tuition fee waiver schemes, and teaching and research assistance to meritorious, needy, and deserving students. This is an effort to make contemporary education affordable and reachable and encourage academic excellence. The scholarships are instituted to recognize excellence in academics and sports, and support students from economically weaker sections. The quantum of scholarships and the number of scholarships are subject to revision and amendments from time to time. The changes shall be updated accordingly and will be available on our website.The students getting scholarship need to maintain attendance of 75% above to be eligible to avail the scholarship. If the attendance is below 75%, Then the scholarship scheme will be cancelled. Any student will be eligible for ONE SCHEME of SCHOLARSHIP only. MP Domicile, DST, Merit CUM MEANS Scholarships are applicable from AY 2023-2024.

VED VYAS SCHOLARSHIP

This is a merit-based scholarship applicable to students who have secured top three positions in 12th standard in their respective boards (CBSE/ ISC/ State Boards) and students who have taken JEE (Mains). The scholarships are awarded depending upon the score secured in the examination.

  • The scholarship application must be supported with relevant certificates.
  • This scholarship will not cover the other expenses such as hostel accommodation, mess, books, etc.

VIKRAM SCHOLARSHIP

This is a merit-cum-means scholarship applicable to students who have secured minimum 90% marks (PCM) or 80% marks (Arts/ Commerce) in 12th standard in the respective boards (CBSE/ ISC/ State Boards). The quantum of scholarship shall be determined based on annual income of parents.

  • The application form should be supported with appropriate certificates.
  • The necessary documents showing the income statements of the family members/ guardians and bank statement for last six months should be submitted.
  • This scholarship will not cover the other expenses such as mess, hostel accommodation, books, etc.

ARJUN SCHOLARSHIP

This is a sports scholarship applicable to students who have participated and won medal/s at national and international level.

  • The sport must be recognized by Indian Olympic Council (IOC)
  • This scholarship will not cover the other expenses such as mess, hostel accommodation, books, etc.

CHANAKYA SCHOLARSHIP

This is a teaching assistance scheme applicable to students who have demonstrated excellent academic performance and are desirous of contributing to the university. The student is expected to contribute a specific number of hours per week and per month in assisting teaching and development activities of the university.

ARYABHATA SCHOLARSHIP

This is a research assistance scheme applicable to students who have demonstrated excellent academic performance and are desirous of contributing to the university. The student is expected to contribute a specific number of hours per week and per month in assisting the research and development activities of the university.

SUDAMA SCHOLARSHIP

This is a need-based, earn-and-learn scheme applicable to students who are desirous of contributing to the university in some way and wish to earn to support their education. The student is expected to contribute a specific number of hours per week and per month in assisting the research and development activities of the university.

ASHOKA SCHOLARSHIP

This is a performance-based scholarship applicable to students who have demonstrated extraordinary performance during the academic year. This scholarship will be awarded based on the overall performance of students in various activities along with academic excellence.

  • The selected students will get 25% / 50% Scholarship on Tution Fee
  • Separate applications are to be submitted after the call for the Scholarship.
  • This scholarship will not cover the other expenses such as mess, hostel accommodation, books, etc.

MP GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is applicable to the students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category. The scholarship is administered by the Government of Madhya Pradesh based on annual income of the family. Students with family income below Rs. 3,00,000/- are eligible to apply.


MP DOMICILE SCHOLARSHIP (For Design Students)

This Scholarship is only for the Design aspirants from the state of Madhya Pradesh. The student is expected to submit MP domicile certificate. 10% Scholarship on Tution fee for every academic year for the candidates admitted from the state of Madhya Pradesh.

DESIGN SCHOLARSHIP TEST

for B.Des -
  • 70% Scholarship on tuition fee for student securing 90% & above score in DST
  • 50% Scholarship on tuition fee for student securing between 80% - 89% score in DST
  • 30% Scholarship on tuition fee for student securing between 70% – 79% score in DST
for M.Des -
  • 70% Scholarship on tuition fee for student securing 90% & above score in DST
  • 50% Scholarship on tuition fee for student securing between 80% - 89% score in DST
  • 30% Scholarship on tuition fee for student securing between 70% – 79% score in DST

DST Scholarship is applicable only on 1st year tuition fee. All Scholarship will be processed in the 2nd Semester.

Applicable to Engineering, Management, Law, and Mass Communication programs.

    Selection

  • The scholarship application form should be submitted by the applicant to the University office after getting admission.
  • The eligible candidates desirous of scholarship are required to fill the scholarship form during the admission process.
  • The norms for selection will be the sole prerogative of Avantika Admission Committee.
  • The scholarship amount will be calculated only on tuition fees.
  • The students fulfilling more than one eligibility criteria will be considered only as per higher preference mentioned in the scheme and will be eligible for only one type of scholarship in a year.

    Renewal

  • The continuation of all scholarships is dependent on consistently high academic performance. The students are expected to meet pre-defined academic standards for continuation of scholarship.
  • The scholarship can be renewed based on the performance in the university examination, attendance, and character and conduct certified by the Dean.
  • The renewal of sports scholarship depends on the performance in sports after admission in university.
  • The scholarship shall stand discontinued, if the student is found guilty of any misconduct or indiscipline.
