AI x AR Workshop | School of Engineering
The School of Engineering at Avantika University successfully conducted a “Game Lens Workshop” with a focus on AI × AR, drawing enthusiastic participation from 85 students. The session was led by Ms. Chhavi Garg, Founder of Arexa and Bharat XR, a Snap AR Partner and Google Women Techmakers Ambassador. A nationally recognized leader in immersive technologies, she brings extensive experience, having trained over 80,000 students, conducted 400+ AR/VR workshops across 500+ colleges, and empowered 500+ educators through Faculty Development Programs. The workshop provided comprehensive insights into the fundamentals of AI, AR, VR, and MR, along with hands-on training on Snap AR tools. Participants explored the integration of AI with AR experiences, real-world XR use cases, and emerging career pathways, and gained an introduction to XR content creation and innovation.

Avantika University holds its 5th Convocation Ceremony, 200 Graduates conferred degrees
Avantika University celebrated a major academic milestone with the successful hosting of its 5th Convocation Ceremony on 14 December, marking the culmination of the academic journey of 200 graduating students. Degrees were conferred upon students from the B.Des, M.Des, B.Tech, BBA, and MBA programmes. The ceremony was further distinguished by the awarding of 9 Gold Medals and 6 Silver Medals, recognising students who demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and dedication throughout their course of study. The Convocation was presided over by Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest through video conferencing. In his address, he appreciated Avantika University for bringing together students from across the country and shaping them into responsible citizens. On the same occasion, the Vagdevi statue, symbolising knowledge, wisdom, and learning was inaugurated on the university campus. The event also witnessed the distinguished presence of Ms. Srimathi Shivashankar, Corporate Vice-President & Global Business Head – HCLTech EdTech, as the Guest of Honour, and Prof. Khem Singh Daheriya, Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission (MPPURC), as the Special Guest. More than 350 parents, along with eminent dignitaries, faculty members, university officials, and invited guests, attended the ceremony, adding to the grandeur of the occasion. Welcoming the gathering, Dr. Nitin Rane, Vice Chancellor of Avantika University, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the university’s transformative journey over the past eight years. He shared how a vision has grown into a thriving academic institution with over 1,600 students from across India, earning national and international recognition. He also emphasised the university’s guiding principle of collaboration over competition, which continues to define its academic culture. In his Convocation Address, Dr. Sanjay Dhande, Chancellor of Avantika University and Padma Shri awardee, remarked that the convocation was not merely a celebration of degrees, but a celebration of character, courage, and responsibility. He reminded the graduates that education extends far beyond classrooms, encouraging them to think with clarity, act with purpose, uphold strong values and integrity, and maintain a lifelong commitment to learning. He added that honest work and ethical conduct are key to long-term success. The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and optimism, as Avantika University bid farewell to its graduating class, confident that the graduates are well prepared to contribute meaningfully to society and lead with purpose in their chosen fields.

Avantika University organises Alumni Day, strengthens alumni-student connect
Avantika University successfully hosted Alumni Day, welcoming graduates from the Batch of 2021 and Batch of 2022 to interact with the current student cohort. The event served as a platform for alumni to reconnect with their alma mater and share professional insights with aspiring graduates. The alumni, now making notable strides in their respective careers, whether pursuing higher education or achieving success in the industry, shared their journeys and experiences. Their interactions offered students a perspective on the growing potential and strong presence of Avantika University graduates in the job market. Welcoming the alumni, the Vice Chancellor of Avantika University highlighted the significance of Ujjain as a historic center of learning, often regarded as the Shikshasthali of Lord Krishna. He emphasized that alumni are the carriers of the university’s reputation and expressed pride in their progress, extending his best wishes for their future endeavors. The day featured cultural performances, followed by an engaging panel discussion addressing current industry trends. The panel included Omkar Adep, Senior UX/Product Designer at Trinet, Avi Choukhany, Service Designer at Elicit Foundation (Design Batch 2021), Aditya Sharma, Full Stack Developer at Vairam (B.Tech Batch 2022), and Pooja Kanojia, Site Reliability Engineer at Workday (B.Tech Batch 2022). Challenging History, Proving with Science | Featuring Nilesh Oak | Avantika University
Avantika University, in collaboration with Wakankar Shodh Sansthan, successfully concluded the two-day lecture series on “Challenging History, Proving with Science.” The second day of the series was hosted at the Avantika University campus and witnessed an impressive turnout of students, faculty, and knowledge enthusiasts. The session was graced by distinguished historian, astronomer, and renowned YouTuber Shri Nilesh Oak, along with Dr. Dilip Madhusudan Wakankar, Secretary, Wakankar Nyas. The event took place in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Rane and Registrar Dr. Manesh Patil. Shri Nilesh Oak delivered an insightful talk on “Indian Civilization – The Most Ancient Heritage of History,” presenting compelling research that proposes the origins of Indian civilization to be far older than the Indus Valley Civilization. His evidence-based narrative opened new avenues for academic dialogue on India’s civilizational antiquity. An engaging interactive Q&A session followed, further enriching the learning experience. The event received enthusiastic participation and widespread appreciation for its informative content and seamless organization, marking another successful academic initiative by Avantika University.

Constitution Day Celebration | CCLSR Inauguration & Journal Unveiling | School of Law
The School of Law & Public Policy at Avantika University commemorated Constitution Day with the inauguration of the Centre for Constitutional Law Study and Research (CCLSR) and the unveiling of its Law School Journal, Avantika Public Policy and Law Review, at the Moot Court Hall. Organised in line with the UGC Advisory to promote constitutional values, the event featured the formal Reading of the Preamble, including a special recitation by the Honourable Vice Chancellor. The programme also included the inauguration of CCLSR, the Investiture Ceremony of Pro Bono Club members, and the official launch of the Law School Journal. A thematic discussion followed on “Relevance of Fundamental Duties in the Constitution of India under the Aegis of Constitutional Morality.” The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, Shri Pawan Kumar Patel, III Additional & Sessions Judge, Ujjain, and Shri Virendra Sharma, Senior Advocate, MP High Court (Indore Bench). The observance of Constitution Day concluded as a meaningful reaffirmation of the School of Law’s commitment to constitutional literacy, civic responsibility, and academic advancement.

Visit to Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha and Tribal Museum | Bhopal | School of Law
The School of Law and Public Policy at Avantika University organized a student visit to the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha and the Tribal Museum, Bhopal, as part of its experiential learning approach that goes beyond classroom pedagogy. At the Vidhan Sabha, students witnessed the functioning of democracy in action, observing legislative proceedings and gaining firsthand insights into law-making, parliamentary decorum, and democratic governance. The visit provided a practical perspective on how democratic institutions operate and helped students develop an idea of how to engage with public service and civic processes meaningfully. The visit was followed by an exploration of the Tribal Museum, where students learned about India’s diverse tribal heritage, indigenous traditions, and traditional justice systems. The experience deepened their understanding of tribal rights, social justice, and policy frameworks, while nurturing an appreciation for cultural diversity, sensitivity, and inclusivity in law and society.

Students of the School of Engineering at Avantika University visited Scientech Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Indore, as part of their industrial exposure program. Founded in 1983, Scientech Technologies is an ISO 9001:2015 certified leading technology company specializing in Test and Measurement, Data Logging, Remote Monitoring Solutions, and Educational Turnkey Lab Systems. During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the company’s product innovation, industrial automation processes, and advanced testing solutions in IoT, AI-ML etc. The interaction provided a practical understanding of engineering applications, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world technology practices.

Students from the School of Law and Public Policy at Avantika University participated in the International Conference on “The Echoes of Bhopal Gas Tragedy: Four Decades of Reckoning and Lessons for the Future,” held at the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal. Vaidika Pandey presented her paper titled “The Silent Echoes of Labourers: From the Bhopal Gas Tragedy to the Sigachi Gas Leak,” highlighting the often-overlooked struggles of industrial workers and underscoring the continuing importance of labor safety and justice. Rashika shared her insights through the paper “Liability for Environmental Hazards: Lessons from the Bhopal Gas Tragedy and Nuclear Waste Dumping in Ratlam,” focusing on corporate accountability and the evolution of India’s environmental jurisprudence. Disha Parmar represented Avantika University in online mode, presenting “Echoes of a Gas Cloud: The Human and Environmental Toll of the Bhopal Disaster,” which examined the enduring socio-environmental impact of one of the world’s most devastating industrial incidents. Their participation at this international platform highlights the School of Law’s commitment to fostering research-driven learning and encouraging students to engage with pressing global and national issues through informed legal scholarship.

Industrial Visit | Shyam Shaktiman Plastics | School of Design
A total of 77 students from the B.Des. 3rd Semester (ID, IFD) and M.Des. 1st Semester (ID, IFD) programs of the School of Design at Avantika University recently visited Shyam Shaktiman Plastics as part of their industrial learning experience. The company, known for manufacturing a wide range of plastic products including chairs, tubs, and stools of different grades, offered students a firsthand understanding of the injection moulding process and the complete journey of plastic product manufacturing. The visit provided students with valuable exposure to real-world production techniques, strengthening their ability to connect design knowledge with industrial practices. Avantika University celebrated Independence Day with patriotic fervor by organizing the Har Ghar Tiranga Marathon on campus. The marathon witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across disciplines, reflecting the spirit of unity, fitness, and national pride. In the Girls’ Category, Stuti Jagtap (B.Tech, Second Year) secured the 1st Place, while Vedika Bapat (B.Des, Second Year – ID) finished as the Runner-up. In the Boys’ Category, Aaditya R (B.Des, Third Year) claimed the 1st Place, followed by Naman Dua (BBA, Second Year), who stood 2nd. The marathon added vibrancy to the 79th Independence Day celebrations on campus, inspiring students to uphold the spirit of freedom and perseverance.

Festive Spirit Marks Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations at Avantika University
Avantika University joyfully celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with its students, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil and the eternal message of divine love and compassion. The celebrations commenced with the worship of Gopal, filling the atmosphere with devotion and spiritual fervor. Students and devotees observed the occasion by fasting, offering prayers, singing bhajans, and engaging in a series of festive activities. Highlights of the day included a game of tug of war and the traditional Dahi Handi, where students formed vibrant human pyramids to break a pot filled with butter, reminiscent of Lord Krishna’s playful pastimes. The celebration beautifully combined devotion, energy, and joy, making it a memorable and fulfilling conclusion to the festivities of Janmashtami.
