Elevate Your Career | Seminar | Red Hat Academy- School of Engineering

The School of Engineering at Avantika University hosted an enlightening seminar on “Elevate Your Career” in collaboration with Red Hat Academy, as part of Avantika University's academy-industry partnership. renowned for its industry-relevant curricula, the Red Hat Academy provided students a hands-on training session on open-source technologies. The seminar attracted an impressive number of over 100 students, providing valuable insights into career growth opportunities within the IT sector, particularly in the domain of open-source technologies. The session was led by Mr. Ravindra Patil, technical instructor at Red Hat India, who during the seminar, highlighted the growing demand for Red Hat-certified professionals in fields of cloud computing, DevOps, and system administration. The session proved to be highly beneficial, as the Red Hat certifications received by the students would help enhance their employability skill and validate their technical expertise. Participants also received practical tips and strategies for preparing for different technical exams, including guidance on resources and effective study methods. The interactive nature of the seminar, marked by Q&A session, further encouraged an active participation from the student community. Students emerge as Winners | ADI Indore Design Festival 2025 | School of Design

The students from the School of Design at Avantika University brought glory by securing first place in multiple competitions at the prestigious Indore Design Festival 2025, organized by the Association of Designers of India. Aarya Dixit won first prize in the Space Design category, Brahmrita Sharma claimed the top spot in Fashion Design, and Adya Srivastava excelled in the Visual Design category by securing first prize. MIT ID - Avantika University was a proud sponsor of the Indore Design Festival 2025, organized by the Association of Designers of India (ADI). This two-day event was a landmark gathering, offering inspiring design insights, engaging workshops, and valuable networking opportunities. For the first time in Madhya Pradesh, the festival united all fields of design, creating a vibrant platform for designers, studio owners, and industry experts to connect and collaborate.

Screen Printing Workshop | School of Design

The School of Design at Avantika University organized a 2-day Screen Printing Workshop for the students of B.Des and M.Des of Communication Design course. Through this course, students got exposure to the art of transferring a stenciled design on a flat surface with ink, a mesh screen, and a squeegee. Learning this technique at the Avantika Univerity premise, helped students master the technique of creating high-quality, vibrant designs on a variety of materials at comparatively lower costs, making it ideal for producing apparel, custom merchandise, and more, with the ability to print intricate details and large quantities efficiently.

Trip to Bhairavgarh | Live Learning Session | School of Design

Students of the School of Design at Avantika University recently visited Bhairavgarh as part of the Surface Design Technique-2 course. The live learning session presented students with the opportunity to delve deeper into the intricacies of the traditional textile printing technique, Batik, an art form with great demand in the domestic and international markets. Students learned to decorate cloth pieces by covering a part of it with a coat of wax and then dyeing the fabric. The waxed areas kept the original color while the areas from which the wax was removed presented beautiful contrasting patterns between the dyed and undyed areas. The products developed by the students during this hands-on learning trip could later be utilized to make beautiful bags, household linens, murals, and wall paintings.

Young Designers League 2024

The Young Designers League 2024, hosted by MIT ID Indore, Avantika University, has wrapped up with immense success, showcasing the incredible talent and innovation of young designers from across the country. The event, held on December 13, 2024, saw students push the boundaries of creativity, crafting solutions for real-world problems in categories such as industrial design, communication design, housing design, and UI/UX design. Congratulations to the winners, including Pradhnya Gandhi (Industrial Design, MIT ID Indore), Adya Srivastava (Communication Design, MIT ID Indore), Jainik Jain (Housing Design, CEPT University), Vaishnavi Shidore (UI/UX Design, MIT ID Indore), and Pranathi Sridara (Industrial Design, Institute of Design, Nirma University), as well as the first and second runners-up! The event was graced by esteemed industry leaders like Sudhir Sharma, Parag K. Vyas, Sharad Singh Solanki, Isha Patel, Deval Verma, and Shivangi Tripathi, who shared their expertise and vision with the participants. YDL 2024 not only celebrated outstanding designs but also provided students with valuable opportunities for future collaborations on national and international projects. Young Designers League 2024 begins!

Avantika University is all set to organize the Young Designers League 2024 - India's premier national design competition on December 13, 2024. Judged by a panel of renowned experts, each design is meticulously evaluated on the basis of originality, practical application, and execution. AMUN 2.0 | School of Management

The School of Management at Avantika University hosted the prestigious Avantika Model United Nations, the 3-day diplomatic discussions culminated with a plethora of other extravagant activities. The prestigious simulation of the United Nations featured diverse committees such as Lok Sabha, WHO, UNHRC, Crisis Committee, and International Press, Witnessing huge participation from schools across India. AMUN 2.0 provides a platform for participants to step into the shoes of diplomats, represent countries, and deliberate on real-world challenges. This year's edition covered crucial topics of technology in gender security, harnessing AI for human health, human rights in the age of AI, and more. During the event, RJ Navneet hosted an engaging talk show featuring his insightful experience on trending topics. The lively event then welcomed stand-up comedian, Divyansh, bringing laughter to the audience. It concluded with an interactive session, allowing participants to connect with event organizers and express their thoughts. In addition to the debates, AMUN 2.0 offered social events, live music performances, and comedy nights, making it an exciting and immersive experience for all.

Mr. Khushned Khan, Head MP of Flomic Global Logistics Ltd., a Mumbai-based company with over 43 years of experience and operations in more than 80 countries was present as an esteemed guest, increasing awareness and understanding of global logistics. Flomic Global Logistics Ltd. provides end-to-end solutions to export and import houses for renowned companies such as Eicher Motors, Mahindra, and Force Motors, among others.

Omshree Group of Companies | Student Training Session | School of Management

The students of International Business specialization from the School of Management at Avantika University completed a 2-day rigorous training program on Export Import Documentation and Procedures at Omshree Group of Companies helping students study and understand the global aspects of a business like strategic leadership, logistics, TMQ, and supply chain management. Omshree is a government-recognized Export House with an annual turnover of ₹1400 Crores, being the 5th largest crusher of Soya in India, it currently has 6 plants in Dhule with a corporate office in Indore. The training session was conducted by Mr. Sandeep Choudhary (CCO), Mr. Shiv, and other senior staff at Omshree. The training session was instrumental in providing students with the necessary hands-on exposure to LC mechanisms and the essential documents required for global trade. The session helped students hone their problem-solving skills, broadening their scope on different perspectives of conducting business.

Basera Old Age Home | Legal Aid Camp | School of Law and Public Policy

The School of Law and Public Policy at Avantika University conducted a Legal Aid Camp at Basera Old Age Home, Dewas. Since everyone deserves to age with dignity, the camp ensures their rights are protected and their wishes are respected on the occasion of International Day of Older Persons, observed on 1st October. To protect and secure the rights, benefits, and dignity of adults aged 60 and older, the camp successfully educated the elderly residents on the legal rights and remedies, as too many older adults do not receive the legal help they need—the much-required access-to-justice. The camp provided a deeper perspective of the relevant laws, policies, and government schemes available for their welfare. In addition to the legal assistance, students engaged the elderly with cultural performances, building a sense of community and joy.

10th World Parliament of Science, Religion, and Philosophy 2024 | Educational Visit | School of Engineering

The students of the School of Engineering at Avantika University participated in the 10th World Parliament of Science, Religion, and Philosophy 2024 organized by MAEER’s MIT World Peace University at the Philosopher Saint Dnyaneshwar-Tukarama World Peace Dome, bringing together world leaders, peace advocates, spiritual thinkers, and change-makers to discuss pathways toward a more harmonious world. Throughout the conference, students had the opportunity to decipher the true meaning and relation between Science and Spirituality, the two most important aspects of human life. Students witnessed eminent speakers from diverse fields discuss highly engaging aspects of science, religion, and philosophy and how they can together serve as a boon to building a healthy and peaceful global family. During the conference, students developed a comprehensive idea of retaining our core value system for the betterment of humanity.

Ms. Anita Songara | Draping Workshop | School of Design

The Fashion Design Department of the School of Design at Avantika University recently wrapped up a 5-day Draping Workshop for its 2nd-year students. The workshop helped students practice different and unique variations of designs. Since draping is one of the oldest methods of garment construction, the workshop was mentored by the supremely talented fashion designer, Ms. Anita Songara, with years of experience in designing and draping. Throughout the workshop, Ms. Songara shared her expertise in positioning and pinning the fabric on a dress form, which is considered an essential step to get the perfect fit and shape. The 5-day hands-on workshop inspired the students to adopt innovative approaches to create designs organically.

Legal Research | Value Added Course | School of Law and Public Policy

The School of Law and Public Policy at Avantika University recently marked the successful completion of its Value Added Course on ‘Legal Research.’As building capabilities is essential for any legal student to thrive, Adv. Ashi Vaidhya, Advocate at Madhya Pradesh High Court, Indore Bench was called to chair the session. The course enhanced the law students' duty to understand the distinctions within the law and gain the capability of interpreting legal precedents. The main focus of the course was to develop legal research skills, focusing on practical methodologies, effective research techniques, and the importance of referencing and citation. Students were introduced to proper citation practices, ensuring academic integrity, and research ethics. Through activity-based learning, they engaged in tasks like drafting legal briefs, analyzing case laws, utilizing research databases, and practicing ethical standards in legal writing and referencing.

The School of Engineering at Avantika University in association with Tech Fest IIT Bombay organized a "Robotics Workshop" with Mr. Mudit Thakkar, CEO of Youngovator, also known as the "Robot Man" of India. The workshop was aimed at facilitating students to understand, design and learn Robotics. A total of 65 students from MBA and BBA Finance, along with second-year BBA students, participated. In an inspiring keynote, Dr. Sanjay Jain encouraged participants to transcend the conventional boundaries of theoritical design, introducing the innovative concept of "Life Experience (LX)" as an alternative to "User Experience (UX)." The School of Law and Public Policy at Avantika University recently hosted its flagship event, Ek Pahel, centered on the theme "Addressing Democratic Challenges: A Multi-Institutional Approach Involving Law, Media, and NGOs." This impactful event brought together experts from the legal, media, and NGO sectors, along with students of diverse fields, to engage in thought-provoking discussions aimed at strengthening democracy and upholding democratic values and institutions. The event commenced with the recitation of the preamble, followed by a welcome address from Dr. Priya Sepaha, Dean of the School of Law. In her address, she recalled the essence of democracy and its significance in our daily lives, underscoring the idea that while India is the world's largest democracy, the freedoms enjoyed by its citizens come with great responsibility. The distinguished guests for the day included Adv. Virendra Sharma, Senior Advocate of the MP High Court, and Mr. Vipul Gupta, Editor of Dainik Bhaskar, Ujjain. The event opened with a nostalgic short film showcasing the journey, achievements, and hard work that has made the School of Law a top legal institution in Indore. A captivating drama performance by the students highlighted the grim reality of domestic violence and the legal remedies available to women for relief. The event also featured engaging panel discussions, where experts and the audience deliberated on some of the most pressing challenges of our time. The successful event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Manesh Patil, Registrar of Avantika University.
