5^th Sep 2020, Pankaj Dhamane, the general manager at Renault Design Center, conducted a session on Building Portfolio at Avantika I-connect session. Pankaj Dhamane served as the Deputy General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Senior Manager at Renault. He was also the Senior Manager Design at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Consultant at Knowtran Engineers, and the Section Manager at Bajaj Auto Ltd.

The session focused on creating an impactful and positive impression. Pankaj Dhamane emphasized how putting only the best of the works can help generate an element of interest. Also, it is crucial to show the design process behind the project to understand the skill-set of the student. As neglected as it goes, presentation is the key. The font size, spacing, alignment, proportions, and layout of the portfolio helps in creating an impression. He also highlighted the importance of criticism because if put in the proper place, it strengthens designs.
