The students, staff, and faculty of the University have contributed to the city of Ujjain by beautifying Datta Akhada Ghat, one of the main ghats opposite the iconic Ramghat. The project was undertaken in collaboration with Ujjain Municipal Corporation as a part of Swacchhata Abhiyan and Competition wherein Ujjain will be participating in a National Level competition under the theme “Beautification of Tourist Places”.

Ujjain participated under the name "Avanti Warriors" and the logo for the same was designed by the students of Avantika University. The talented students of the University painted the murals on the ghat and they worked all night to prepare the stencils. The day ended with the students performing Kshipra Arti.

Shri. Anshul Gupta, Commissioner of Ujjain Municipal Corporation and Executive Director, Ujjain Smart City Ltd, visited and appreciated the students for their wonderful gesture towards their city Ujjain.

The teamwork of Avantika coupled with the best intentions and service mindset of all those involved in the project was indeed a sight to behold. The same is visible in the before and after pictures of the ghat.
