Rahul is a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Ewing Christian College, University of Allahabad. He has pursued his Masters in Applied Physics (M.Sc.) from Amity University, Haryana. He holds a Doctoral degree (Ph.D) from BITS-Pilani, his research area spans from Mathematical and Theoretical Physics to computational Cosmology with a focus on simulations of supernovae explosion and their cosmological applications. Rahul has published research papers in SCI indexed international journals including the Journal of Astrophysics and Astronomy, Nuclear Physics A, Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics, Physics of the Dark Universe and International Journal of Modern Physics. His amentiferous collaborators range from various national and international research institutes of importance such as the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (Gwalior), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (Mumbai), INFN - Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (Italy), Northwestern Polytechnical University (China) and others.
