Yogesh completed his MDes from IDC, IIT Bombay, and BFA and MFA from Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai University. He is an expert in Typographic design and has an experience of more than fifteen years in designing several books and magazines, viz. RBI Governor's Bungalow - A Sylvan and Sublime Address for Reserve Bank of India, J. Patel, A Visionary - Coffee Table Book, Without Reserve - In-house magazine of RBI, etc. He has worked for esteemed clientele like RBI, IIT Bombay, Loyal Insurance Brokers, Innovia Tech Solutions, Bahari Bounty (Tanzania), Kashish Film Festival, and many more. He has also worked with Bombay Natural History Society and Times of India (Marathi Magazine Division).

He is the founder member of 'Aksharaya Society' - which works for Calligraphy, Typography, Font Designing, and its education (all Indian Languages) and creating awareness through 'Aksharsamvad' - lecture series about the same. Before joining Avantika University, he was associated with Yogakshar Design Studio as a Principal Designer and Proprietor. On the academic front, Yogesh has been a Guest Faculty at NIFT, Mumbai. His teaching expertise is in the area of Typography, Calligraphy, Graphic Design, and Indian Art History.

Yogesh has published writings in Marathi at Kala-itihas kosh, Kalnirnay (Diwali ank), and Harman Zapf. He was the Gold Prize winner for three consecutive years at ABCI and ICE awards. He was also awarded the Ambience - Typography prize at Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art.

In his free time, he likes to read and go on treks.
