Sourabh Sharma is a diligent Researcher and an experienced Academician with a keen interest in Computer Science and Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. degree from the renowned Rajasthan Technical University. During his Ph.D. he contributed extensively in the field of image processing by considering security aspects and information hiding especially of the color multimedia data, using Optimization based Soft Computing approaches. Being a curious and dedicated researcher, he published his Ph.D. findings and research work in various journals of repute, including Applied Soft Computing (Elsevier), Neural Computing and Applications (Springer), Multimedia Tools and Applications (Springer), Ambiente Intelligence and Humanized Computing (Springer), Journal of Intelligent Engineering Informatics (Inderscience) to name a few. Currently, he is working on dimensional reduction, information fusion, object detection, medical diagnosis, and applications in image processing. He is an active member of different research societies like IAENG (International Association of Engineering), and SCRS (Soft Computing Research Society) as a Life Member. He also gained exposure by reviewing articles from various international journals and conferences. He is always eyeing young minds and is very enthusiastic about research in Computer Vision, Information Fusion, Image Processing Applications, and different other sectors of Engineering and Specializations for the development and welfare of society.
