Dr. Prasheel has more than 2-decades of experience in academics, research, and consulting, and his proficiency as a teacher and researcher has been widely acknowledged. Dr. Prasheel has pursued a deeper understanding of the dynamics between Design and Engineering, with a focus on Design-Centered Education. This liberal approach aims at, transcending disciplinary boundaries, creating new directions, giving birth to new ideas, and having the confidence to bring about a change. A passionate researcher, Dr. Prasheel's primary research interests are in sliding mode control, uncertainty and disturbance estimation, active disturbance rejection control, and autonomous systems. He has made significant contributions in robust control, by combining uncertainty estimation techniques with sliding-mode control, and developing simultaneous state and disturbance observers for uncertain systems. Dr. Prasheel has received research grants to the tune of INR 5-million and contributed significantly in engineering and educational consulting. A celebrated author of 4-books, 3-book-chapters, and over 50-research papers in archival journals and peer-reviewed conferences, Dr. Prasheel is also the author of several monographs, technical reports, and white-papers. Venkatesh Rajmanickam is an M.Tech in visual communication from Industrial Development Centre of IIT Bombay. Venkatesh is an established academician with over 25 years of experience in academics and industry. He started his journey as an interface designer with CMC Ltd., went on to join Kirloskar Multimedia Pvt. Ltd. as Project leader before finally entering into academics as Deputy Director of SP Design School in Singapore where he was instrumental in providing strategic and operational leadership, and in designing, validating, accrediting and implementing the teaching projects. Currently, he is working with IDC of IIT Bombay as a Professor and his area of interest is in the field of Human- computer interface design, Data visualization, Technology and learning, Design History and Affordable housing. He is also the chief mentor of the Information Design Lab at IDC and aims to lead and influence creation of unprecedentedly powerful ways of engaging with the complex challenges of the world.

Puneet Tandon is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra and, a Master and Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Currently, he is a joint Professor of Design and Mechanical Engineering at PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur. He is also at present serving as Dean of Research, Sponsored Projects and Consultancy at the institute and also mentors its deLOGIC Lab and Soln Lab. His primary research interests include Innovative Product Design, Computational Support to Product Design, Knowledge-based Engineering Design, Computer Aided Design, and Hybrid Manufacturing. The works of his research group in the field of innovative designs are recognized at national and international level. Puneet has carried out multiple research projects funded by various agencies such as DST-RFBR (Indo-Russia), IMPRINT-India and DST-Advanced Manufacturing Technology projects. Besides this, he had carried out a couple of joint Indo-Japan (DST-JSPS) research projects, and projects funded from other agencies like DST/ SERB, DAE/ BRNS, MSME/ Design Clinic, MHRD, etc. He has two patents in his name and has authored 1 text book, 8 book chapters and more than 200 papers in referred journals and international conferences of repute. With an expertise in developing design pedagogy in areas of Industrial design and Fashion and Lifestyle Accessory design, he has crafted academic design programs, which includes Design Foundation Programmes, courses at Basic design level as well as at advanced levels. In his 11 years of journey with Tata Steels, he was engaged in various engineering and project-management roles. From a technical aficionado to the HR head at BigBasket, his transition to Human Resource function started with being a part of Management team of several other ventures like Daksh (A BPO company acquired by IBM), Virtusa (An IT services company listed on NASDAQ), Amba Research (An investment research company acquired by moodys) and TaxiForSure (A taxi aggregation company that merged with OLA cabs) and etc. In his transition he brought in a lot of business and engineering perspectives, innovative inputs, structured thinking processes and problem- solving approach to break the conventional ways of practice in the industry and helped these companies sour to great heights. Hari's passion for scaling-up organizations by inculcating effective processes has earned him the credit of four successful exits in different industries. Dr. Manak Lal Jain is an experienced academician with a rich experience of 30-years in teaching, industry, and research. He holds a M. Tech. from IIT Madras and PhD from IIT Kanpur. He was also a Visiting Research Scholar at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC), USA. His research interests include, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Reverse Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, Biomechanics and Biomodeling. He has published over 30 papers and presented his research on various international and national platform. Dr. Jain has received funding from AICTE under various schemes like Margdarshan Scheme, MODROBS, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, and RPS. He has also received funding under the FIST scheme of DST, New Delhi. Professor Kirti Trivedi is a veteran academician from the Design fraternity with over three decades of experience. He has a Master of Design (M. Des) from Royal College of Arts, London, and has a Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. Before Avantika, Prof Trivedi was associated with Indian Institute of Technology Bombay for over three decades as a senior faculty member. Here he was instrumental in developing India's first Master's Degree Programme in Visual Communication at Industrial Design Centre (IDC). At present, he is also the Head of the National Design Team for Dandi Salt Satyagraha Memorial project of Government of India, Ministry of Culture, since 2010. He has been a visiting faculty to leading education institutions in Asia like – Nanyang Technical University (NTU), Singapore, National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan, Xinhua Beijing University, Beijing. Professor Trivedi is a prominent personality from the Indian Design Guild, and his work, write-ups on design and educational projects have been published in a variety of global design magazine and journals, including MODO, Domus, Design Industrial Design, and much more.
Mahesh D Goudar

Dr. Goudar has a Doctoral degree in Electronics Engineering (Ph.D. (Electronics)) from Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad. With a Post Graduate degree in Electronics Design Technology (M.Tech. (EDT)), and a Bachelor degree in Electronics & Communication (B.E. (E & C)), Dr. Goudar has focused his interest in the field of Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation. He has 13 years of industry experience and 17 years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy. He has represented India, as a mentor and expert, in the Electronics skill at the World Skills Competition 2013 at Leipzig, Germany and World Skills Russia 2014, Yekaterinburg, Russia. He has also represented India, as a mentor to the Indian team, in the Mobile Robotics skill at World Skills Competition 2015, Euro Skills 2016, World Skills 2017 at Sau Paulo (Brazil), Gothenburg (Sweden) and Abu Dhabi (UAE), respectively. He also has the honor of receiving a ‘Medallion of Excellence’ for team India in the skill of Mobile Robotics. He has been felicitated by FICCI, at the hands of Shri. Rakesh has a Ph.D. from the Central University of Allahabad, UP, India in Steady and Unsteady Hydro Dynamical Flows and Heat Transfer Problems. He is a thorough academician with over 20 years of experience and has held senior positions in the Department of Mathematics across renowned educational institutions from India. Before Avantika, he was the Professor and Head, Department of Applied Science and Humanities with ITS Engineering College Greater Noida, Dr. A P J Technical University, UP, India. Beyond this, he has also had international teaching experience with BITS Pilani at their Dubai Campus, and at Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Rakesh has published several research papers and conference papers. He has also co-authored curriculum books on Mathematics for Engineering students.

Hemant is a Professor with Avantika University. He is an Artist, along with being an Art and Design Educationist. He has a Ph.D. from Barkatullah University, Bhopal in Drawing and Painting. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he has worked as a Principal, HOD, Art Director, and Guest Lecturer at various renowned private and government educational institutions. Before Avantika, he was the Principal at SDPS Women's College. He was also associated with Government Fine Arts College, Indore as the Assistant Professor (Art Director). His expertise lies in Mural Design, Graphics, Etching, and Sculpture. Moreover, he has mastered Indian traditional Folk painting and Wash Techniques. He has won several national and international awards, including National Kalidas Puraskar. Additionally, he has been instrumental in conducting a variety of workshops and has authored several research papers and publications for Art, Design, and Education.
